I now remember why I declared the White Sox dead this year. They give me the shakes watching them. They have improved their hitting, they are getting on base, but not one of the bunch, with the possible exception of Beckham or Quentin can do anything when a runner reaches second base. Clutch hitter wanted! If it’s Alex Rios, bring him on. We are back to the solo home run as the only method of scoring runs. The poor starters are pitching and giving up unearned runs due to hellacious fielding gaffes, while their team mates sleep through the first 5 or 6 inninngs against rookies and pitchers with ERA’s over 5. It is now such a repeating occurence I’m beginning to think it is some kind of mass psychosis that needs psychiatric help. But a clutch hitter would help. Is it Alex Rios? I don’t know or care. They are giving away the division and need a cure.
